Private Sessions + How To Prepare

Below are all the session types available during The Teaching Tour, along with quick tips on how to prepare.

Chat Session

This is a one-on-one conversation with Jaron. There will be no vocalizing, no singing, no line readings, and no showcasing of your voice or artistic work in any way.

This time is purely to talk—about your voice, vocal artistry, career path, performance questions, studio development, or whatever’s on your heart and mind. Expect a relaxed but focused conversation, guided by your goals. Jaron may ask thoughtful follow-up questions to help clarify your needs and make sure the conversation is as meaningful as possible.

HOW TO PREPARE

Come with questions, topics, or areas of curiosity you’d like to explore. This session is built around you—The Studio will not create the agenda on your behalf.

No question is too simple or too complex. The goal is that you leave with clarity, encouragement, and direction.

Be ready to engage openly. These sessions are intentional, supportive, and conversational—we keep it real, kind, and rooted in purpose.

Audit Session

This is not a voice lesson—it’s a focused conversation centered on how your voice presents. There will be no vocal warm-ups or technical drills during this time.

You’ll briefly showcase your voice either live in person or via a pre-recorded clip—typically around five (5) minutes of material. Jaron will listen and offer real-time feedback and observations through guided discussion.

HOW TO PREPARE

Bring your questions—nothing is too simple. This time is yours.

Come open, curious, and ready to engage. We keep it real, joyful, and encouraging.

If you plan to sing live, arrive vocally warmed up and ready to present your voice in the way you choose.

Jaron will not assign or suggest material in this session—come with something prepared.

If you’re using a pre-recorded file, have it queued and ready to play at the start of your session.

If you’re singing with a track, bring your playback device, fully set up and ready to go.

If an accompanist is joining you, please arrive together for a smooth start.

Standard Session

This is a standard 1:1 working session designed to support your vocal needs as an individual, communicator, and artist.

Prep Session

This is a full working session designed to explore your technique, artistry, and vocal goals in real time.

It typically begins with a brief conversation with Jaron about your vocal history and what you hope to accomplish. He may ask clarifying questions to better understand your needs, and together you'll outline a quick plan of action. From there, you’ll dive into the material you’ve brought—whether singing, speaking, or both—and Jaron will guide you through targeted exercises and feedback to help move your voice forward.
